Don Bosco Institute believes that education cannot be confined within campus walls. Our Extension Services reach out to the wider community — the villages, slums, schools and rural areas — bringing skills, awareness and hope to those who need it most.
Our Extension Programmes
School Link Programme
Partnering with 20+ schools across Assam and the Northeast to deliver vocational awareness sessions, career counseling and skill demonstrations to students from Class 8 onwards.
Rural Outreach
Mobile training units visiting rural communities to deliver short courses in computer basics, health & hygiene, and income-generating skills.
Health & Hygiene Camps
Annual free medical camps, dental camps and health awareness drives in collaboration with Apollo Clinic and other healthcare partners.
Environment Awareness
Tree plantation drives, waste management workshops, and green campus initiatives led by DBI students and staff.
Cultural Exchange
Facilitating the NYKS Tribal Youth Exchange Programme — bringing tribal youth from different states for a week-long cultural immersion.
Remedial Education
Free coaching and remedial education for underprivileged students preparing for Class 10 and Class 12 board examinations.
